I’m Aga Król — a documentary wedding photographer based in Zakopane. For me, wedding photography is about telling authentic stories. I focus on emotions, relationships and the fleeting moments that become lasting memories. I don’t believe in being “photogenic.” Instead, I work with each couple personally: I gently guide you in front of the camera, ease the atmosphere, and let you be yourselves. This approach creates natural wedding photos — images born from observation, empathy and a sensitivity to the decisive moment. My reportage style blends documentary truth with an artistic eye for light, composition and landscape — especially in mountain plener sessions around Zakopane and the Podhale region, where nature becomes a powerful part of the frame. How I work: we meet before the wedding — online or over coffee — to discuss your expectations and the day’s flow. On the wedding day I remain discreet, focused on capturing subtle gestures, meaningful glances, laughter, details and the overall atmosphere. Engagement or pre-wedding sessions are available as a way to get comfortable with the camera and build trust, which helps achieve more relaxed photos on the wedding day. My experience spans wedding reportage, events and travel photography — working with people in varied environments taught me adaptability and visual storytelling. My projects have been recognized and exhibited (including LaMPA and collective shows).
