Namalowane Światłem (Paweł Dawid) is a photography studio based in Gdańsk focused primarily on wedding photography. My work is characterized by a reportage approach — I look for honest, unique moments and let them tell the story of your day. I believe a true photograph conveys emotions, gestures and those small but important details — and that is what I aim to capture for couples. As a wedding photographer I focus on naturalness: I don’t force poses or interfere with the flow of events more than necessary. I work discreetly and attentively to capture authentic moments during the ceremony, blessing, reception and outdoor sessions. Outdoor sessions are treated as a continuation of the couple’s story — a time when we can create calm, romantic frames together, often using Gdańsk and Tricity locations. I also offer engagement sessions to help couples become comfortable in front of the lens before the big day and to introduce naturalness into their wedding images. These sessions are a relaxed opportunity to build rapport and create images that reflect your relationship. My working method is based on dialogue and collaboration. Before the wedding we discuss the schedule, preferences and the moments that matter most to you. On the wedding day I stay flexible — able to work in church, registry office or reception hall — while ensuring the reportage reflects the character of the celebration.
