I’m Julia Kurgan — a wedding photographer working primarily in Gdynia and the Tri-City area, with dozens of completed wedding reports. My wedding photography is rooted in a natural, documentary approach: I avoid staged smiles and posed acting because I believe real emotions create the most memorable images. My formal training at the Sopot School of Photography and studies in Multimedia and Computer Graphics at WSB Merito in Gdańsk helped me combine technical skill with visual storytelling and marketing awareness. My working method is simple and empathetic — I start by learning your story, expectations and the details of your celebration. On the wedding day I stay discreet, becoming part of the event rather than directing it. This approach produces honest, natural shots and a cohesive report that takes you back to the feelings of the day. For wedding sessions I’m happy to create a plener ślubny in locations that matter to you — by the sea, in the urban scenery of the Tri-City, or anywhere meaningful. Although my primary focus is wedding photography, I also offer engagement sessions that work great as preparation for the main report — they help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and establish a joint style.
