Hi — I'm Rafał Makieła and for over 12 years I've been focused on wedding photography. My passion is telling the story of your day through images that become authentic keepsakes. Based in Ruda Śląska, I primarily work across the Silesia region but happily travel throughout Poland and abroad for destination or plener shoots. My approach is rooted in naturalness and authenticity. I strive to be an unobtrusive observer so couples and guests can feel relaxed — this is when the truest emotions appear. In wedding reportage I concentrate on fleeting moments, meaningful details and genuine reactions, while in plener sessions I seek light, composition and locations that highlight your story. Each wedding is unique, and I adapt my style to match the personality of the couple and the event. How I work: we start with a conversation — I want to know your plans, wishes and the little things worth capturing. On the wedding day I work discreetly yet confidently: observing, offering gentle guidance for natural portraits, and maintaining a relaxed atmosphere without forced posing. After the wedding I carefully select and edit images to reflect the mood and emotion of the day. As a complementary service I offer engagement sessions — a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to create a cohesive photographic record before the wedding.
